The Dominican schools are an important consideration for anyone considering a move to Cabarete when there are children involved. The International school is a first rate educational facility and in fact families move to Sosua/Cabarete from all parts of the world just to enroll their child at the International school. The Garden Kids School is a Local Authority Primary (5-11) co-educational day school. The number of children enrolled ranges from 120-150. The school follows the Local Education Authority Admissions Policy. www.garden-kids.org
Holiday Spanish School
Take an intensive Spanish course during your stay. The school is located in the heart of Sosua. The Holiday Spanish School offers Spanish language courses for students of all ages and levels. Each class lasts a minimum of two hours. Group classes are generally held in the mornings from 9 to 11 and 11 to 1, but they are more than happy to accommodate special requests.

La Boca Cabarete Beach
La Boca is the most secluded beach area on the North Coast of the Dominican Republic. It’s only minutes away fron the village of Cabarete but the drive consists of rough dirt roads and trails for several miles and once you get there don’t expect to see any tourists.
La Boca has a restaurant with a menu of outstanding fresh fish dishes. The miles of natural and unspoiled beaches makes it worth the trip. The La Boca Grille is the lunch stop for the Outback tour!
